The EC-ABP is a member of the PC-based ECG Holter product family. This diagnostic device uses oscillometric technology and operates on alkaline or rechargeable batteries, making it suitable for 72 hours of continuous blood pressure measurement and monitoring. This technology is clinically validated by all three of the most widely recognized international standards (BHS, ESH, and ANSI). The device accurately and comprehensively calculates systolic and diastolic readings, pulse rate, mean arterial pressure, BP load, and pulse pressure. It includes functions for creating, editing, and sending and receiving reports. The device’s internal software can operate on a network that houses a database common to the entire Holter family. The software can be run in any of several different language options.
